Washing machine Door Seal

Hi folks, I have a small nick in the door seal on bosh front loader washing machine. Would Tec 7 or something seal the gap for me. The nick is only about 15mm long and only opened a little bit. Will post pic later.

Did the Tec 7 work? I have same problem, can't get new seal.
