    Hi

Engine light has come on my 2008 VW caddy, seems to be driving fine\same as before the light. I would like to diagnose myself trying to find a "how to guide"

Looking like buy a cable and use VAGCom. But what cable will work etc

    Thoughts?

you don't need anything as detailed as vagcom, for an engine light any obd II reader will do the job. I got a wireless one that works off the phone for a tenner off adverts have a search.
My bet is an injector fault.
