    It will.

You don’t have to use either. An excel file will work.

Just make sure you record the right stuff like animal tag, product, qty, date given, date withdrawal ends etc.

This crowd, Virtual Vet will keep your records for free. You have several ways of sending in a usage, ring at the time, photo , app etc. They will send you a full printout of your purchases and usage for your inspections and also give you an annual usage report with your usage relevant to others...nice bit if info..

    It's free

“We offer the service for free, but we plan that hopefully as we grow in scale we would be in a position to pay the farmer for the data.”

Myself and a neighbour were debating last week, there's a lot of inspections happening here in the locality. I said I'm registered on ag food for my online register. And I fill the medicine in my board bia. So I don't have to fill the blue book anymore???

It might be different now, but you had to tick a box on agfood to use it instead of the blue book. I still fill in the book just as a backup to agfood.

It's a bit mad you can't record medicine usage on agfood, you would think the department might want to keep an eye on potential anthelmintic resistance or simply antibiotic use on animals destined for human consumption, but there you go.

It's likely coming down the tracks. Think someone mentioned it's inn in the pig side already or coming in?
