Green cert - young farmer payments

Hi lads,

Currently doing the green cert have another bit to go but wondering about the benefits of young farmer payments etc?

What can be applied for as being a young trained farmer? What have people applied for?

Do your lecturers never discuss YFS in Agriculture College?

Not as of yet only half way done maybe could do in second half of the year thanks for the links.

When I did the green cert, the very first day the lecturer gave us signed letters from Teagasc so we could get the young farmers top up straight away. If you haven't got that yet, I'd get on it straight away.

Thanks very much not even a word about it yet here by us or mention of grants etc at all and some advice would be useful off them. will def get on it
