Instagram posting problem, it won't show up any recent gallery photos?

Ok, so as the title suggests, when I try to upload any photos from my phone gallery to Instagram, it won't show up any recently taken photos (from the Instagram app from my gallery, to select, only those a few months old.
This only happened today and not sure if its just a glitch with the app or my phone. I tried clearing cache on the Instagram app, but to no avail.

Anyone else with similar problem?
