Ring Video Doorbell Pro - not ringing internally

Just wondering if someone can offer some assistance.

Had an electrician over to rewire my existing doorbell to a Ring VD Pro.

He's wired it up and popped in the transformer. It works with the Chime that came with it - this rings fine.

But it's not ringing my main doorbell. I have turned on "Ring my in-home doorbell" and have tested both digital and mechanical (as not certain which we have) but neither work.

    Any suggestions?

Your old chime has to be bypassed for it to work in European countries.

Thanks, this was actually the problem in the end. The electrician bypassed my chime. When he "undid" this, it worked perfectly and still does.

    Hi all
Following instructions to install Ring Pro which refers to 2 wires in existing doorbell which require bypassing. However, my unit has 4 wires.
    Any guidance much appreciated
