If the epa are saying that the leixlip plant is not adequately treating the water then Irish water are knowingly making c600,000 people use contaminated drinking water. Surely this is a national emergency! It is a disgrace that irish water have covered up inadequacies of staff and equipment at the leixlip plant. Lifting a boil notice when the treatment is not fully effective!!! I'm glad I had a distrust of that announcement and continued to use bottled water. 3 out of my family of five have had diarrhoea for the past 3 days after drinking contaminated water.

    Disgusted, disappointed and angry.
