Form 11 - ROS

As usual I am very late in completing my 2018 tax form 11 via ROS...

I just noticed the calculation they are using at the end is completely different to my 2018 tax cert. Eg Tax Cert says Tax Rate Band 1 for 20% is x, ROS is using y. There is a fair chunk of difference in the end Payable amount.

Is is just a case of ringing them up? Has anybody here seen this before?

    Thanks

Have you status single/married etc. correctly entered in the F11?
Rate band can also show differently on certs if there was other income coded in e.g. DEASP / rents etc.

Status is married. Basically I am seeing tax calc as 43550 @ 20% when it should be 43550+<spouse income> @ 20%

I spoke to someone from ROS helpline earlier (Income Tax section), they confirmed that what I was seeing is a mistake...plan is to make sure I did not untick/tick any boxes incorrectly and see if it changes.

If it stays the same, I will complete the return but calculate my own tax and just pay that and follow up with ROS/Revenue next week. They were helpful enough.

    Thanks
