Advice on cracks on roof/walls

Hi all,

Recently got new wooden flooring put in upstairs.

Noticed a lot of cracks on the ceilings downstairs and now noticed more on the walls downstairs... a lot in fact.

They are hairline cracks not too wide however just concerned it could be a problem structurally.

Anyone any advice on this?

Post some pictures and edit the title to read ceiling rather than roof
Did flooring guys crack the ceiling and the wall cracks were always there but you never noticed them till now?

Yes we had some cracks on ceilings and walls... then more came once we got the flooring done upstairs. There was a lot of hammering and vibrations but just a bit concerned how early the cracks came on from doing minor work like flooring

Close up pics make context difficult to see.
Nothing would worry me from what I see, just check outside the window one to see it it is a wall crack, I don't think so.
Hammering will do it in the ceiling.

Is it a new house you have? If so, they're just settlement cracks. Nothing to worry about.

Did you have work done down stairs one of the pictures look like it's 2 different ceilings. But yes moving furniture around and hammering and so on do cause cracking in poorly skimmed ceilings
