In a follow up of a previous thread here, what's the best of the tiger? The best - Houses my parents bought in the 90s increased by 10 fold. They have had them rented out for 20 - 25 years, and they have huge positive equity in them. The worst - My parents bought our family home in 2006. It's worth 75K less than they paid…

The best - Houses my parents bought in the 90s increased by 10 fold. They have had them rented out for 20 - 25 years, and they have huge positive equity in them.

The worst - My parents bought our family home in 2006. It's worth 75K less than they paid for it (not the worst thats happened to anyone, by any means). But they sold another house 2 years later at a 200K profit, so it's ok. My uncle built a McMansion house hoping to hit it big and lost 2 million on it. It broke him
