Tax on US dividends

    Hi All,

I am doing a personal tax return for my husband. He was paid a US dividend net of withholding tax of 15%.

On the form 11 section 310 asks for the gross amount of US dividend and then in section 319 I can put the Irish tax deducted. But where should I put the Us tax withheld?

    Thank you.

    Alena

The Ros form will automatically calculate the 15% credit once you enter the gross in US dividend income

Thanks! I am not registered on Ros and I am submitting a paper based Form 11.

Will the Revenue office calculate it automatically when the figures are entered onto their system?
