Anyone have it? Im looking to invest into a night splint or one of the Strassburg socks for it. Does anyone have any good recommendations for these products or if you have had it/still do what worked for you?

I was going to get a night splint but then I had work done on the bones in my foot by an osteopath. An x-ray showed that they were basically locked up which was the root cause of the problem. If one of your legs is shorter it could also be causing strain so a professional insole would be worth looking into.

I found just getting better footwear really helped. I also really have to avoid being barefoot/stockinged when at home. Slippers all the time. Once I do both of those things it leaves me alone.

I've been reading up on this previously because of pains in my foot. Is it a pain around the heel/achilles that flares up from time to time making it uncomfortable to walk? I got it about a week ago and it was the worst I ever had it, couldn't walk or put pressure on the foot.

More in the arch of the foot. You might have tendonitis in your Achilles.

    Sounds more like tendonopathy.

Rolling a tennis ball under your foot for periods of time can help OP.

Go to a podiatrist, it will be expensive but they will be able to see the reasons for it and help you correct it properly.

Plantigrade describes mammals who walk on the soles of their feet like humans and bears. Digitigrade describes walking on the toes like cats, while unguligrade describes those mammals that walk on their nails/hooves.

    This is what I'd recommend.

You can of course to to one of the speciality shoe retailers. They are going to sell you shoes, that's what they do.

A podiatrist will figure out what's wrong and tell you whether you can fix with exercises. Not crazy expensive and you might be able to offset against your health insurance.

I found that by stretching my feet and toes (moving them in every direction possible and using my toes to 'walk' my feet down the bed from the knees up to the legs flat position) for a couple of minutes at night and in the morning made mine go away without medical intervention.

Got diagnosed with this a few weeks back. Going to a physio for it. Will see what they say.

I've found walking on the ball of my foot in the morning helps but that's obviously just a temporary measure.
