Failed NCT for fog light, is this what I need?

    If the fog light failed the test it is more than just a bulb,unless they have got very strict recently.
    Normally with a blown bulb they will ask you to go and get it changed,then go back to the test centre where it will be checked and then you will receive your windscreen disc.

    Second pic shows its rotted so it looks like a new lamp needed.
    Hard to know if it needs painting.

    Sorry should have said I just have to bring it back for a visual inspection.

    Looking for a bulb on micks garage and I'll I can find is ones for mk3.

    Maybe need to change whole unit for mk4?

    There is no reflector left in your lamp so its useless,try local motor factors as they might have a listing on Somora parts.

    Maybe because its clear glass on the ebay unit we might not see it on his.

    Ebay item stated as new as your seeing the whole for the bulb insert,you will need/best to replace with a new bulb.

    No bulb holder is the bit that bulb is attached to and is inserted into the rear.

    Bulb is not the issue as its the lamp at fault.
