Anyone notice changes with Amazon not delivering to Ireland?

I've noticed a lot of items I've bought in the past no longer delivers to Ireland. Half would be sold and dispatched by amazon so it's not just 3rd party sellers.
    I have prime btw.

Not sure if it's brexit related or is it just a coincidence for me.

Some things that I would regularly buy have stopped shipping to Ireland. It has been like that for me for best part of a year now. Not sure if its Brexit related or not.

Agree fully. I had to put a 'fulfilled by Amazon' phone cover through Addresspal last night as they don' t ship direct to here.

They'll sell me red, but I'm not allowed black.

Maybe I'll hurt myself or something.

I see they've taken away the email contact option also. Customer service used to be their strong point.

Have noticed an increase of cheaper items not delivering to Ireland. Having Prime means less and less for the .co.uk version of Amazon.

Was only talking about this with my wife the other day, i've been buying 2 boxes of pedigree jumbones from amazon at 24sterling delivered, now they're looking at 25 a box and no prime. (12 pieces in a box and they sell in shops for 2/2.50 each)

Now a question, i have this offer subscribed, next one is due to be sent out next week, will i still be charged the price that i subscirbed too (approx 24 for the 2) or can they charge and bill me 50 for the 2??

What I've found is that you can often buy a cheap item once with free delivery then go back to buy a second a month later and there is no longer any delivery to Ireland.

I think what happens is once the seller realises the cost of shipping the first item they just stop sending here because it costs them more than any profit.

Is this happening just with .co.uk or .es and .fr too?

I've only noticed this on the .co.uk site. It could be similar for the others too.

They ones they will send are a pound more expensive, wonder if that is significant?

I contacted Anker regarding the situation with cables above. The gave me a runaround answer saying it was Amazon's doing, not theirs, and to contact Amazon.

I won't be doing this as I contacted Amazon before about another product and they gave me a nothing answer and said if I wasn't happy to make a complaint to the UK consumer body. A lot of good that would do.

My guess is Anker knows the situation and keeping stum at Amazon's request.

I spoken to sellers and I've been told more than once that Amazons setup for delivery options is a real pain. One guy I contacted said that Amazon gave him the choice of having free delivery or charging £4.50 for delivering an item weighing 40kgs. Only other option was to exclude Ireland.

In my case they would sell me the product in one colour but not in another.

    I'd say there's two issues:

    1. Products are costed for UK delivery. The extra cost to Ireland causes a problem and catches many sellers and Amazon themselves unawares.

    2. Delivery system in itself is flawed, throwing up anomilies like mine with the colour problem.

    The prices are different.

You see stuff like that all the time on Amazon, Sandisk SD cards used to be an obvious example.

For all we know the ones that won't deliver to Ireland are in a warehouse in Germany and the ones that will are in a warehouse in the UK?

Yes I have ordered stuff from Amazon Prime (UK) and had it delivered from Germany.

Yeah, I'm starting to notice this more and more. I'd be buying items dispatched by Amazon to avail of the free shipping. Probably more on cheaper items but it's making Amazon less of an option.

Parcel Motel is a way around but then the package is split into multiple deliveries and ends up costing you a lot on delivery charges.

I'm finding amazon.de is quiet annoying to shop on now, with many small items just not been offered for delivery, but i am getting the same

item delivered from amazon.es, and like the op its just a colour difference, quiet strange really?
