Cable size from inverter

    Just checking what size cable you would recommend going from the inverter to the board for a 4.7kw solar setup covering a distance of about 30m

    Go 10sq minimum to limit the voltage rise, worth it for the small increase in marginal cost.
    Your electrician will have the final say anyway.

    Max operational current +20% overhead.
    Panels to inverter < 3% voltage drop.
    Inverter to CU < 3% voltage drop.
    Charger to battery ~1% voltage drop depending on nominal battery voltage.
