    Hi All,

As part of the separation from my ex, the house sale has been granted with a stay of 4 years and until such a time he has to pay the mortgage so I’m indemnified. When the house sale goes through I will get circa 60k-80k.

I was wondering if I get myself into a position in the next year would a lender make exceptions to allow me to buy a house while still being on the other mortgage and house, ie would a lender disregard the mortgage I’m already on if I have a court doc. saying I’m indemnified
