My 2003 Audi Allroad 2.5 TDi wouldn't start for me after sitting for about 10 mins. Called the AA and eventually had to get it towed.

Judging by the codes, it's pointing to an injector pump failure which is not uncommon. It's a Bosch VP44. I've been recommended a guy in the UK that can recondition for around €800 (a new one is north of €2k).

Is there anyone around the Dublin area that can recondition these? They're a pretty common pump across several manufacturers. Can't see myself saving money, but it would speed up the process of getting it back on the road.
