New Gas Boiler? Options?

The gas valve has gone faulty on my current boiler (Likely a solenoid failure) and whilst I'm waiting on a price for the part and labour.

I'm wondering what replacement options I might have?

Current boiler is a Ferrolli DomiCompact F24B running 7 rads and a hot water tank.
Boiler is located in the attic.

Is going over to a combi, removing my current HW tank and pump an option?

Am I better off considering a Air 2 Water and solar setup?

House is a 3 bed semi, well insulated and triple glazed.

Ideally I'd like to avoid replacing the current setup as long as possible but any input on options would be appreciated.

So in relation to the above, EI have quoted €442.65 for supply and fit of the Solenoid Valve.
In relation to pricing is that a fair shout?

Its @20%; of what I have budgeted for supply and fit of a new boiler when I eventually pull the trigger for one.
Ideally I can eke a few more years out of the current setup and the boiler tech who diagnosed the solenoid did say the boiler itself is in good nick to last another while

Any steer on if that supply/fit price is appropriate?
Or indeed if someone can recommend a limerick based RGI that can do a better deal would be appreciated
