When a car sales man touches the small of your back

I get that they're trying to lead in such a situation, but it's kind of annoying when they touch you as they guide you in a certain direction. What do you think of this? It's not that I mind physical contact, I don't want people to go all MeToo snow flake on me. I just don't think it's necessary.

I think it's a good chance to say "don't touch me" to the sale man. With myself I often find that, when with a car sales man, that I like the fact that we're "getting along". The thing about this is that you make yourself more open to manipulation. It shouldn't make a damn if it's awkward between you and the car sales man.

It's worse when they touch the small of your front.

What colour was the car is the first question Joe Duffy would ask.

    Both male

When I was involved in selling luxury cars I asked a female customer what was best. When she is in the driver's seat should the salesman stand over her, potentially looking down her top or crouch down & potentially look up her skirt :pac:

Tell him to take his amateurish manipulation techniques elsewhere while holding a spinning pocket watch in front of him.

    Why?

I would say the context doesn’t call for it. It wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world if it happened to me but it would definitely be offputting.

    Sexual harassment, panda.

Launch a twitter campaign complete with pictures of where on your body the evil man touched you. Also add in a picture of the innocent victim in a sympathetic pose.
All in a selfless effort to raise awareness of this egregious abuse of human rights.

Don't shower or wipe your arse for a few days and you'll find this doesn't happen anymore.

You'll also lose your job and your wife will leave you.

But at least he didn't touch the small of your back.

Fix him a Grete Thunberg look and say "HOW DARE YOU", works every time.

That's the whole idea... that you won't think about it. That you won't realise it is happening to you.

He’s touching your back not your asshole, why would you think twice about it?

Well you'd have to be there to understand what I mean. It's a little thing, you're right. But it won't go unnoticed.

If it happens perhaps. But it doesn't. So all a moot argument.

He should ask for consent before touching your back. This needs to be taught in schools.

It’s a sales tactic so to elicit a personal response from you or your brain. With the way the world is going, It will soon be hands by the side at all times reading a dictionary of made up ****ing words and terms that won’t cause offense.

Please don’t feed it in to this bull**** if you really don’t need to, Generation Y or whatever they are called are a lost cause so don’t buy in to it.

It's an invitation for gay sex, just go with it.

Exactly, it's a manipulation/ anchor technique, just be aware of it and don't be manipulated.
