    Never - as long as it's under 21euro there's no import charge. Even then you can fiddle an invoice, I've had large items come through with no duty

    I often wondered how exactly the shipping fee gets passed on to the next carrier like from Chinese postal service to an post for example shipping rates in China are peanuts compared to here how do they both make money on it as the cost of getting that package or letter here delivered is much more expensive than China unless they just look at huge volumes and eventual profit on so many packages delivered .

    did you actually read the article? doesn't seem like you did.

    it's about postage, not customs/ duty

    artificially low postage cost shoots up - won't make economic sense anymore.
