Where do you usually get your car serviced? Any motor mechanic / garage should be able to test the battery under load and check it is getting thr proper charging voltage when the engine us running. A good number of motor factors should also be able to check it for you.

get a new battery if you can jump start it, its failling, its not coincidence once autumn comes nights drop close to freezing temps it loses charge, so explains why its been hard to turn.

What tests did they carry out that led them to that conclusion?

Get the battery and charging conditions checked appropriately. That'll more than likely show where the problem is.

How many miles are you driving a week? This weather if you are doing around 20 miles a week and having the lights on, heater on etc the car will not be charging the battery enough to cover what you are using and so will run flat over time no matter what battery you have.

Has the charging system on the car been checked?

You say it was turning over slow. And started with a power pack. It's the battery. Colder weather always finds them out. Change it and you're sorted.

Update,.my mechanic is adamant its Spark plugs, 15 D, 190,000 kms

So i decided to get battery Checked again from a different company and the guy who checked it said my battery was failing,

So i decided damm it put a new one in well i thought i got a battery 2 years ago infact i got a battery in June 2018 isn't that just a bit too soon even though i do a lot of short driving on/off key etc

Ill get spark plugs done now so im completely sorted
