    Only 1 A?
Time to sent her for grinds and remedial education...
    She's obviously a bit dim!

    Or, on a serious note.
Look at the sheer volume of work she has done for those exams.
In the midst of an exam cycle where the curriculum was significantly changed and help her appreciate she has done very, very well!
She now has TY year to get over the marathon she has run, to focus on the LC and pick her 6/7 best and a repeat performance makes the world her oyster.

    And no...
They are not easier than back in our day indeed the sense of worth placed on academics nowadays is excessive IMO.

Will it affect the subjects she can do for her Leaving Cert?

Wouldn't think so, shes obviously at the same level ( B) in them all bar Geography (A), shes in TRansition year now so as Banie says get the subjects picked for LC in due course she likes best I guess

Pretty sure she'll be able to do whatever she wants with those results.

If my daughter gets anything near those grades today, I'll be fecking delighted.

She passed. That's all that matters :)
You can spend a long time studying, trying really hard and only to get a kick in the balls with a fail. So a pass is a pass.
