A new paid Parental Leave Scheme that allows parents to take two weeks paid leave each during their child’s first year is expected from November 2019.

Anybody seen any update on this bill? It was originally due to kick in next month but seems to be radio silence at the moment.

My experience of these things is that their usually 6 months to a year or even more behind the date the press office announced.
The government will say they were busy with Brexit.
Brexit will be the gift that keeps on giving.

Minister for justice introduced it as one of his three priority Bills for the autumn session. November is very close, I'd have my doubts
