I got a samsung Tv UE50NU, last year. FInd the picture quality good but when watching something that is set in dark/night time the picture is very hard to see.

I'v played with the setting with no luck.

My old sony bravo didnt have this issue, picture wasn't the same quality as the Samsung but at least i could see nighttime scenes.

My question is, is this a Samsung issue, ill be buying a TV again in the black Friday sales and would like to avoid the same problem.
