hey just wondering if anyone can answer this.. i pay a weekly hap payment on a thursday morning it comes out by standing order.last week my bank accidently went under the amount so it did'nt go through.i only realised this saturday afternoon so i payed it online with a debit card.so i was expecting the bank to charge me 10 euro for the unpaid fee thats no problem.but today i was charged the 10 euro plus the full amount of my hap.so basically now ive double payed.can i get this money returned? im just thinking now i wouldent mind my account just being in credit but for example if i didnt put the money in this week wouldent the same thing just happen again the bank will just charge me the unpaid fee again ? any help appreciated .

I know on my online banking you can put a standing order on hold and then take the hold off if given enough notice, but you really need to call your council and check whether the account goes into credit or if missing a weekly payment will cause you any hassle.
