    Hi folks,

ye are more likely to know this.

I wonder can I lay this on a plywood roof deck if I put felt underneath it?

    Many thanks.

Two questions I'd have is, is there enough of a fall to take away the rain water, and if you are screwing it into the plywood, would there be enough grip in the plywood for the tek screws?

the fall is sufficient 11 degrees.
Regarding the grip I have thought about this and I could try to screw into the rafters underneath the ply. These are at 16 inch centres so most should work. If not, I can run a 2x4 underneath parallel with rafter along the length of plywood to take the screws.
I was more concerned if there might be condensation issues. I have seen this done with no probs in other countries. In theory, as the cladding is on the ply, there will be no condensation as there is not a drastic temperature difference.

I can't say for certain, but I wouldn't think condensation would be a problem once the air in the building can't hit the sheeting directly......

Go for the insulated box profile and forget about the plywood.
The thing about the box profile is most people screw into the gulleys. It's fine till the rubber wears off the washer and then it leaks.
My own preference would be to screw on the ridge. Not sure if there's a screw long enough to screw on the ridge on insulated box profile. But it's worth a look see anyway.

If you do get a screw long enough maybe the plywood idea could be resurrected again. But then the problem is people might want to live under it then with being so well insulated...
