Carers allowance

    Applied for carers in March and got turned down.
    Sent it back for review and had an interview in my local social Welfare office,the inspector said she would call too my house.any idea as too what they call for??im guessing too prove i live there /provide the care

    Perhaps the inspector has been by now, but if not, I found they just have a chat, ask about what you do, meet the person you care for if they live with you. A lovely lady came to my house, I had all my documentation ready, she went through it, asked what I did. No stress at all, but do have all the paperwork ready, and have copies if she wants to take away anything. Hope it all goes well.
