    Munster:
    Mike Haley; Darren Sweetnam, Rory Scannell, Tyler Bleyendaal, Shane Daly; JJ Hanrahan, Nick McCarthy;
    Jeremy Loughman, Kevin O’Byrne, Stephen Archer; Fineen Wycherley, Billy Holland (C); Jack O’Donoghue, Tommy O’Donnell, Arno Botha.

    Replacements:
    Diarmuid Barron, James Cronin, Keynan Knox, Darren O’Shea, Chris Cloete, Alby Mathewson, Liam Coombes, Jack O’Sullivan.

    Dragons (v Munster Rugby):
    Jordan Williams, Ashton Hewitt, Adam Warren, Jack Dixon, Owen Jenkins, Sam Davies, Rhodri Williams (c);
    Brok Harris, Richard Hibbard, Leon Brown, Joe Davies, Matthew Screech, Huw Taylor, Ollie Griffiths, Lewis Evans

    Replacements: Ellis Shipp, Ryan Bevington, Lloyd Fairbrother, Max Williams, Taine Basham, Tavis Knoyle, Jacob Botica, Tyler Morgan

    We're back! :)

    With a number of injuries in the backline and two flyhalves starting at 10 and 12, Munster opt for a 6-2 split on the bench. With the #2 scrum-half spot up for grabs, Nick McCarthy gets the starting job with Alby Mathewson on the bench. Keynan Knox is in line for his Pro14 debut.

    Who is Kenyan Knox? That's a wonderful name

    Very solid backrow, considering we've a few away at the RWC.

    I think he (along with Matt More) was one of the SA's young lads signed out of school.

    20 year old SA prop who we brought over after Craven week two years ago. Has one more year in the academy, but has already signed a 3 year professional contract to start when he finishes in the academy.

    Don't particularly like that midfield.

    Could have put Daly at 13 and Coombes on the wing.

    Nice team other than that.

    Both picked up knocks last week and were being reviewed through the week. Not sure if any more was released than that

    Munster have their own #TB12. :)

    Both quality players, but it must be one of the smallest lock partnerships Munster have ever had in the professional era.

    Munster A:
    Jack Crowley; Jonathan Wren, Alex McHenry, Jack Delaney, Rob Hedderman; Ben Healy (C), Craig Casey;
    Peter McCabe, Scott Buckley, James Kendrick; Seán O’Connor, Thomas Ahern; Dave Hyland, John Hodnett, Cian Hurley.

    Replacements: Kieran O’Shea, Mark Donnelly, Luke Masters, Daniel Okeke, Kelvin Brown, Jack Stafford, Seán French, Jamie Shanahan.

    That gives you an idea of the current depth chart.
    Peter McCabe still with Munster.

    Scannell at 13 will be very interesting.
    Should suit him much better, more space than at 12.

    Looking forward to this, particularly as Ireland vs Japan was called off.

    Shoulder to shoulder. If Hibard is red carded it's a disgrace.

    Not a harsh yellow at all, he was already tackled and fat Thor went in to do damage.

    He's seems to be playing with more aggression. Great bench to come on in the second half too :)

    JJ has yet to make a good kick from hand, another straight to a Dragons player.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,902 ✭✭✭budhabob

    Lovely try. Great break by scannell and finish by Tyler.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,857 ✭✭✭shootermacg

    Super try, the inside dummy by Botha made it there, great hands too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

    How was that "in the side"? There was no ruck andnif there was ot was over.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,599 ✭✭✭ScrubsfanChris

    JJ continues to have a very poor game, just kicked a penalty dead now.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 458 ✭✭sliabh 1956

    It took us ages to get into their 22 but when we did we got a score, once we went got the 2nd try I thought we could let loose but somehow we took a while to get the 4th, Haley's sinbinning and the rain might have impacted on it too but I'd have liked to see us run a try or two more.

    Happy to see Daly get MotM but I'd have given it to Holland or JOD.

    Is it safe to post here? I've been avoiding the Ireland threads...

    Really happy with that anyways. Bit of a mixed bag from McCarthy, some of his kicking was a bit astray, but his passing was good, great pass for the Daly try. Daly himself had some very good moments, and some big performances from JOB, Holland and Botha in there too. Pretty happy with that.

    Tell me about it, I'm also avoiding the Ireland threads, no stomach for it. The Munster performance cheered me up (a bit) though. Some very nice attacking play.
