    Hi,
I had a business up until this year. I was a director in the company, as was my wife. I ceased the business and filled in all the necessary forms, and now I want to go back to standard PAYE tax returns. (was doing self assessed form 11 returns up to now)

Revenue have said I need to fill in a TCRN1 form. So I assume that one is required for me and one is required for my wife?

TCRN1 is a form to cancel tax registrations. Revenue are asking for that in relation to your company.

Also, by 'ceased the business', what exactly do you mean? Did you go for voluntary strike off?
