I've booked a flight to Dubai with Emirates (Aer Lingus doesn't fly there), can I use my Aer CLub platinum card to fast track and use the lounge?

Nope. You need to have an Aer Lingus ticket for the lounge. You may get away with fast track though. Emirates have a lounge in T2 I think though.

agh, the new lounge for all the arab travellers where they will be plyed with bacon, sausage and black pudding for one last time to show Dublin airports appreciation of their visit.

If you had it in a father ted sketch you'd think the madcap idea would be a little far fetched !

Don’t knock it, I swear there’s only many so many chicken sausages , or turkey rasher that you can have. One last piece of bacon is always welcome.

It wasn’t opened in the 14th when I went out to the ME, but I believe it’s fully open now.
