I have to day today is a bad days racing for picking actual winners, so many horses with similar form and the racing is just bad. Having said that, plenty of opportunities for laying and picking maybe one banker winner.

3.45 Plumpton, Local Affair, around 15/8 - 2/1'ish at the minute and it's a lay bet for me, I don't think it will win. It was running on the flat for crisford over 1m4f, it kinda stayed on. After that run I'd imagine crisford knew the horse was a jumper, needed further and sent it to longsdon, ran second over jumps but I still get the feeling they might be unsure about what is the right distance for this horse. I think the horse will win in time but today a definite lay bet for me.

5.00 Hamilton, Chica Buena, around even money, this is another lay bet for me and my best bet of the day. Horse off the flat for over 700 days, ok ran over hurdels class 1 but this will be different. Some hardy types in this race and the fav will more than likely get knocked about. 'Looks' well in, but I'd be more surprised if it won than lost. Can't see it winning.

Good luck to anyone betting today. After looking at the form, this looks to be one of the toughest days to pick winners in sometime. I'm going to tread carefully.

EDIT: 2.10 I'M NOT BACKING THIS, I'VE TRADED OFF AND TOOK MY STAKE BACK.

I'm scrapping the above bets. I've heard little bits and pieces and I've traded off, made no loss and no profit.

I had an idea today was a bit of a dodgy day, so in the 3.45 @ plumpton I've traded off and just took my stake back and I did the same in the 5.00 @ Hamilton, just took the stake back. Irrelevant now whether they win or lose to me. This is the reason I don't put up my bets early.

Anway, I will bet in the 2.15 @ plumpton, Gateway To Europe, around 6/5'ish and I think the horse will win. This is not my best bet of the day. Looks a 2 horse race and I think it'll be far too good for the second fav.

Last bet of the day for me and I'm leaving it at that. I don't like the racing one bit.

2.45 Plumpton, Romanor, I'm laying it for 2 places on the exchange at around 7/4. Horrible race and I don't think it'll be placed. The only half decent horse in the race is cubswin but I cant' back it in a race like that. Just the lay place on Romanor for me.

Good luck to anyone betting today, I'm out.

Not backing in the 4pm @ hamilton, but I really don't like the fav - Roman Stone. At around evens I was tempted to lay but just going to sit it out and watch what happens.

This bloody 5pm @ hamilton just won't leave me alone.

I didn't like the fav Chica Buena, but I've been told it won't be beaten today, so therefore I'm revising my original bet and backing Chica Buena to win @ 4/6. I'm out for good now.
