    Lifted from Broadsheet.

    ]On The Late Late Show…

    Jennifer O’Brien writes:

Laura Madden, the Monaghan-born former Miramax employee, who was one of the first women to go public with allegations of sexual abuse against film producer Harvey Weinstein, joins Ryan to discuss her experiences working with him in the early 1990s.

He'll be giving her a good hard grilling, I'm sure

In celebration of the Dublin Senior Footballers’ 5-in-a-row, Dean Rock and his father Barney Rock, a former Dublin player, will be in studio,…while rugby legend Shane Byrne helps us kick off the Rugby World Cup, Japanese style.

Dublin GAA celebrations. Fair enough. RTE the sneaky effers had "The hurling" moved to August in case Tipperary won. Saved a fortune in "Green Room" costs

Popular TV chef Donal Skehan is on hand to discuss life in LA and raising his family there

New show on RTE, I guess

The finalists of the Farm Heroes Awards will tell their stories,…

Phil Coulter, son of Derry, will give his thoughts on the future of Northern Ireland…

A great artist down on his luck and is getting a well deserved "Bunk up" from RTE.

A musical performance from English singer-songwriter Freya Ridings, who will sing Castles.

I heard her today whilst on the potty. Tubbs "did a Darcy" and played the wrong song. She sounded like an Adele tribute band. Can't wait to hear "Castles".

Plus…they are the most sought-after tickets of the year, and we have a pair up for grabs for The Late Late Toy Show…

Is it that time of year, already?

    *cancels ‘no-hard drink September’*

The Late Late Show at 9.35pm on RTÉ One.

I came to write I would be available for selection tonight to contribute to the thread and actually watch the show but thanks to my good friend sligojoek I say "Well done! Well done!"* as your preview so to speak has put me right off. It'll be a movie or (don't tell Tubs I read) a book for me tonight instead.

Every season there is one Late Late when I happen to have a cold, and can't be having the beers.

It's come early this season. It's a really tough night.

Phil Coulter's once a series appearance comes early this time.

Switch to Whiskey, good for colds (allegedly). Helps with the LLS too

I don’t think I can do Dublin GAA and Phil Coulter.

I'm going to bet the best bit of tonight's Late Late is the music in that Ikea ad.

These adverts are as bad as the LLS

Back in the day you could sing along with classics like this

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 74,296 ✭✭✭✭Welsh Megaman

    Evening all :)

Let's get stuck in with a Phil Coulter classic (no, not the theme tune to 'Supergran' which admittedly is also ace)...

Someone in that all star guest list must have stood them up and they need to pad the show out tonight with filler.

    Winger?

    I prefer Warrant, but sure...whatever you're having yourself :)

I mean, why is this even a segment?

The barrel is well and truly been scraped. And it's not even five minutes old yet.

That story was just bizarre...and a little bit disturbing....can someone explain why we just heard it??

Apparently some of the Dublin mens team are carrying on so to speak with the womens team, if true they will breed a super race of footballers of the future.

A man on crutches, Ryan's eye just lit up

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,444 ✭✭✭✭Skid X

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,553 ✭✭✭CH3OH

Dean . Do you think we should have 4 teams from Dublin competing in the football? Just to even it out a bit

How much do Rte pay you to be an audience member these days? I'm sure it's gone up the last few years.
