New flail mower failure

My new flail mower broke on me today. Heard loud knocking and thought I lost a flail but when I took off the guard for the belts saw that the spring was banging against the metal and stopped . Won't turn over now.

Is the bearings gone on it? I regularly greased them. Or is the the rotor shalf?

    Expensive to fix?

A man is rich in proportion to the number of things which he can afford to let alone.
