Can I ask for my information details back

    Apologies to Mods if this is posted in the wrong forum.

    Im looking for a bit of advice.

    Last week I had to go to an osteopath and he took my details, age,occupation, address ect ect

    But he then asked me for details of my parents ,"were they alive" "what did they die from" ect

    I was a little taken aback by this , given I have been to numerous docs,chiropractors,physios, over the years and have never been asked about my parents.

    I did question him and asked giving details about my parents had any bearing on me going to him with back problem.

    He said if they had had back problems or osteoporosis .

    I disagree.

    As it turns out he was useless in helping me with my problem and I am wondering If I can ask for my details back from him?
