Renovation & Dormer Attic Conversion

Can someone help give me a ballpark (and general advice) here?

We are looking to get Dormer Attic Conversion in a small (515sqft) 2 bed bungalow (I will be seeking planning permission) renovate with new layout, retain one bedroom downstairs and have one or two bedrooms upstairs.

What kind of price are we looking at? Would it be cheaper to extend (35sqm) than do a dormer attic?

We want to do as much as necessary e.g. we certainly will insulate now; but can we hold off on solar panels til later?

    TIA!

Really impossible to tell without rough drawings or layouts etc
But ballpark id be outing aside 20-25k for the dormer conversion.
then 1200-1500 per square meter for the renovations depending on level of finish and spec
