Audi a1 hill hold assist

Hi i have a 2011 audi a1 and it doesn't have hill hold assist. Is it possible to activate the hill hold assist in the car or does it have to be installed from factory. Thanks

Have you manual handbrake?

I have hill assist in my Skoda but it only holds the brakes for a few seconds once you release the foot brake.

It’s not the proper assist like you get on a car with an electric handbrake. This is called Auto Hold

Yeah the car is a manual. Yes the 5 second hold is what i was looking for but not sure if it has to be installed at factory or can be activated now. Thanks

Pretty sure hill start assist can be coded in on these, where are you based ?
