Cannot thether with vodafone...is it apn settings?

I'm trying this for a while now but when I turn hotspot on and connect my computer says it's connected but with no internet access. Ive asked vodafone instore and they say I should be able to connect. I think its an apn setting problem? Any help appreciated

The simplest possible fix on android is to verify that there is only one APN set (live.Vodafone.com) and check the APN type and either set it blank or default.

Is USB tethering working?

Is there credit on the SIM?
