That's sumptuous looking; TBH I've only seen "I am the Pretty Thing That Lives in the House", but liked what I saw. He's an underrated director from the looks of things...

Looks interesting. The writer, Rob Hayes, doesn't seem to have a horror background, but his screenwriting is limited, though varied:

He's also a playwright, with an interesting Edinburgh Fringe play:

    Another play he wrote:

Feature popped up on this; could be Perkins' breakout hit. The man really knows how to turn the screw...

    Sharp divide.
I recognised Sophia Ellis from "I Am Not OK with This"- she's very good in it.

    Really good trailer.

Eh. What is he on about his Borg Queen prequel film?

Alice Krige playing the witch who also played the Borg Queen in Star Trek First Contact. It's also amusing that it's him making the reference since he is the one RLM guy who has no interest in Star Trek.

From the trailer for this Alice is applying the same bad accent she used in Carnival Row.

This is one of the best films I've seen this year.
It stayed with me long after watching. Great cast too.

Every person has a dark side. What defines a person with good character is not a spotless life of constant kindness, smiles and even temperament - but a willingness to see in themselves their deepest and wildest selves, lust, greed, jealousy and envy. Their complete & authentic self.
