At the time of the incidents i was aged 4-11 and now aged 21. My question is will i have to give evidence in the court room or can i have the option of not attending court.. Thanking you

People have a right to face their accuser and rightly so. (not being harsh, i understand yours is a sensitive case)
I believe children can give video evidence in certain circumstances.

Yes, you will be required to give evidence if they plead not guilty.

    Hope it all works out

Can a person give evidence in an affidavit or sworn statement or does it have to be given live in person in court? Can it be a combination of both?

unless there is a plea of guilty , no , the defense have the right to cross examine a injured party or witness
that is one of the reasons why prosecutions of this kind are so difficult and painful

    im sorry for your trouble
