B&Q have landscaper's bark 4 x 100 litre's for € 34 . This is a bit dearer than tesco,aldi etc. but far superior and will last a lot longer.

I get as much as I want free at my civic amenity site at Mungret outside Limerick.
Last time I was there I had a 6' x 4' trailer and filled it no charge . Check your local council under Environment and you should see the centres, depending I suppose on what County you are in.
