Quad sprayer on pick-up

I have approx 25 acres of meadow that I need to keep under control with weeds - mainly dandelion and thistle. More a job for next spring at this stage I think but want to set myself up. Getting a lad when you want him (and paying him) not stacking up...

I was wondering if a quad sprayer (with boom) could be secured to the back of a pick-up or what the best option might be. It's an old, old model Pathfinder (similar to Navara). Ideally the sprayer would fit across the with of the bed at the back. I don't want to strain the tailgate so boom it would hang over it if possible. Have something like this in mind:

I have a sprayer similar to that, should be no problem to set up, I'd imagine the tailboard would carry it but it wouldn't be difficult to plumb it back from the pickup body either to the booms and wire a switch to the cab and away you go.
Only a hobby farm here now so only use the quad for spraying but sprayed off two paddocks of .5ha for reseeding with it

We run squad sprayer on 3pt hitch on tractor, I know lads run them in transport box. What your suggesting should work fine. I wouldn’t like the weight on tailboard either
