Vaude Skyfly Rain Jacket. This is a 2.5 layer, waterproof, breathable, technical rain jacket. It's semi-fitted so not your ultra-snug race fit, more of a club fit but not a big flappy sail either. Suitable for club spins or communting and has a nice long tail to keep the backside dry. Sizing is pretty generous so I ended up getting a Medium instead of this and got loads of wear out of it. In anything short of torrential rain, this jacket will keep you as dry and as comfortable as anything out there and you won't "boil in the bag." It comes with a pouch and it will roll up tight to fit in a jersey pocket.

It has been sitting in my "overdue returns" drawer for a while so it's time to move it on.

How would that pretty generous sizing compare to other brands, presume it's bigger than a Castelli etc?

Bigger than Castelli for sure. I’m usually L to XL in Castelli and I was M in this.
