Recently received a summons for court for a TV licence. Its my parents house I answered the door to the inspector and said it's not my house my parents are away now months later I'm due in court and I'm not even the householder. Any advice what to do can I bring Bill's to court to prove I'm not a householder do I just pay it or can my parents ring the TV licence crowd and get it sorted

I would imagine it tells you how to nominate the person to pay, if you're not the relevant person? What's the letter say?

Your parents are away but you live in the house?

Stop complaining and looking to weasle out of it. One of either you or your parents needs to man up and start paying your fair share to the society you belong to and stop sponging off the rest of us.

    Hours? Or months?

So why haven't they paid for a TV license?
Simply send on the TV license number when you get it and it'll magically all go away.
