Fill gaps between paint lines

I have recently taken off some beading in a bed room which took a load of paint with it ( beading was at waist height on the wall)

If I paint straight away there will be clear lines under the new paint showing the missing paint was

If there a filler / sealant I should put on to fill the gaps / remove the lines before painting with my finished coat.

I think the previous paint was put straight onto the plaster board as when I took off the beating the paint just flaked off - in large sections.

Any advice or advice on products on how to avoid having the gaps where the paint has removed coming through in the new paint?

I feel I have done a terrible job explaining the above

    Sheetrock filler would work, https://www.mcmahons.ie/fill-finish-jointing-compound-blue-top-17l-20kg

You'll prob have to fill and sand a few times, depending on how fussy you are.

Perfect - thanks for the feedback. Was thinking some sort of think filler - not polyfiller but more like a think primer type substance - just to remove the visible lines between the old paint and the bare plasterboard

Something similar happened to me last year.
I scraped off any remaining loose paint.
I then sanded down the edges of the paint and bare patch to create a smooth transition.
Then, I wiped down the affected areas with a sugar soap solution.
After that, I used a paint brush and painted the bare patch, allowing a day between each coat. Brushing out from the middle and along the transition. Once I felt that I had enough layers painted up, I then used a roller and painted the entire wall again.
    It turned out quite well.

Cheers - putting a few coats of paint on is definitely an option but if I could get away with using a filler / thinker paint that just required 1-2 coats on the bare area that would be preferred.
    thanks for the feedback
