Bit of a strange one, is it possible to get your own herd number off the parents land? This isnt a partnership. I want to start buying/taking on my own cattle stocked in the family farm

I know the obvious is just to use the family herd number, but was just wondering for my own sake.

    Thanks,
    justin

You have to have separate facilities - crush etc and I think you need a separate entrance. Cattle for both herds cannot mix and you may need double fencing to ensure that they cannot.
