Tv Licence

    My cousin has a mobile home in the same premises as her step fathers house. Same land etc.

    Tv licence inspector has called and said she needs her own licence. Is that correct?

    I also am in the same situation and dont want to be caught out by not paying it.

    Should I register for it?

    It's correct.. however if the address is the same, she should give her father's name as the householder. If they summons him to court he can produce his tv licence. *case dismissed*

    Does a hotel need a different licence for each room?

    If not, should be fine as the one address

    It would be considered a separate dwelling I would have thought and would need a seperate licence. A holiday park with mobile homes for instance, all the individual mobiles must have their own licences.
