end of lease

Hi,

its my first time renting and my lease is up at the end of September. Should I start renting a new house in September to move my stuff over? Unsure as ill be paying rent for 2 places then and that is a lot of money. How i can get some help and I'm unsure how it works.

Once you are renting for over 6 months, your lease really doesn’t matter that much anymore, you have Part 4 tenancy rights. You don’t need to sign a new lease, just carry on as you are.
