uPVC skirting and architrave

    Anyone know if they warrant extra cost. Just hate having to paint wood skirting every few years so thought might be worthwhile investment .

    Shudders! Does everything have to be wipe clean?

    Sorry but there are times with uPVC is the right material for the job (like in an office) but in the home its too harsh for me.

    Haven't even seen it in real life yet. Just photos online where looked like timber. If plasticky looking then agree, and will forget it . Ok to DIY shop at weekend to see what looks like in reality

    They sell walnut skirting board for 9 quid a lenght in des kellys, dark timber color that you will never ever need to paint . But thats if you want walnut coloured skirts. I installed them and they still look as good as the day they were put in. like you hated glossing skirting boards:mad:
