Does anyone know of a kit available which could be retro-fitted to existing field gates to allow them to be opened via remote control?

Seems something which could be invaluable to a farmer sick of getting in and out of the cab!

Lad i know has a solar one rigged up on the farm gate, its on a very busy road n just rings the phone as hes driving up to it. Saves blocking the road jumping in n out of the tractor.
Take your chances with a cheapo one online, probably a few grand to get a crowd install one.

Yes dial to open a great job , especially at the house if someone calls while u out so u don’t have to give them the code for gate

Sounds ideal - any idea where I'd find one?

Looks good, although a bit pricier than I was bargaining for! Might be a bit dodgy leaving them close to a main road?
