Nissan NV200 van wheels

Hey guys, recently bought a Nissan NV200 van 2012 for work but I'm quite unhappy with the stability of the van on the road. I'm looking to upgrade the wheel size and width to hopefully add a bit more grip as the current stock wheel size is 14 inch and about 5 inches wide.

I was wondering would a 16 inch by 7 inch wide fit or would I have to run a wheel spacer? If anyone has an nv200 and has done this please let me know! Thanks

I’m not sure that changing wheels will improve things. The fact is that it’s a narrow (based on Tiida platform) and tall van with soft suspension.
All manufacturers have moved away from this style of van.

If you are changing wheels, make sure they are load rated for the van, swapping car wheels on there is more than likely not sufficient.

The best bang for buck would be to fit air suspension.
Changing tyres won't affect the grip, the tyre contact patch is based on weight and tyre pressure, so if you fit a wider tyre all you are doing is changing the contact patch shape not the size of it.
Air spring kits aren't that expensive.
